“ I surprised my partner with a candle light dinner date here and honestly, I’d never been here before, but Jyoti from their team coordinated with me over the phone and helped me pick the perfect table. She even got the whole table decorated with candles and red roses — not over the top, but still beautiful and romantic. The setup was in their semi-open outdoor seating area (covered but airy), which felt just right for the evening. We booked for 8 PM a day prior, and I’m so glad we did — there’s a huge waiting line if you don’t reserve. The place was buzzing, yet service was good. Kudos to Amar (I think that was his name) who served us, and both he and Jyoti made great recommendations. We ended up ordering Spicy Grilled Chicken Sushi, Spicy Basil Cottage Cheese Bao (only two pieces but very filling and so delicious), and Burnt Garlic Corn Cubes (massive portion for two). My partner went for a Classic Iced Tea while I tried the Kaffir Fresco cocktail — refreshing and just the right hit. The highlight was the Lotus Biscoff cheesecake I’d pre-ordered, with “Happy Birthday” written on it — freshly made, creamy, and honestly one of the best cheesecakes I’ve had in a while. We were so full from the starters that we skipped the mains, but everything we did try was spot-on in taste and quality. It has a fine dining vibe, but not in an intimidating way — Staff are well-dressed and attentive. They have valet parking which is super convenient. Only thing — on the ground floor there was just one ladies’ washroom, so it gets busy, but it was kept spotless (there’s always someone cleaning after each use). Overall, OONA is a must-try if you’re looking for good food, thoughtful service, and a place that makes special moments even better. ”
